WATCH: Adele LIVE in NYC – Feb. 11, 2011

Last night the always amazing Adele performed for an intimate crowd at New York’s PC Richard & Son Theater in Tribeca for her iHeartRadio concert taping. I was invited to cover the show and, as you can imagine, was beyond excited to see Adele live for the first time!

The girl did not disappoint. Adele may be one of the only vocalists in the industry today who sounds as good, if not better, live as she does on record. Her voice soared as she ran through hits like “Chasing Pavements” and recent single “Rolling in the Deep” – as well as impressive new cuts from her upcoming album, ‘21‘ – in stores Feb. 22!

Beyond her out of this world voice and heartbreaking songwriting, Adele was meant for the stage – she may not dance up a storm like a Beyonce, but Adele’s rapport with her audience was impressive and genuine. She kept everyone laughing with her anecdotes about quitting smoking (3 weeks and 2 days – keep it up!) and even jokingly telling front row fans to “fuck off” when they said they’d keep a tissue she used to wipe her sweaty brow. Adele had the entire venue, including security, hanging on her every word.

The night was one I will not soon forget. Shoutout to Nikki from Sony and Vanessa from iHeartRadio, and of course the awesome people at PC Richard & Son Theater. Be sure to pick up Adele’s ‘21‘ later this month, and go to Adele.tv now to buy tickets for her upcoming Spring tour across the U.S.

Watch some of my personal videos from the show below, but be sure to check for the entire professional taping of the concert in the coming weeks on iHeartRadio.com – you will be happy you did.
